We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Support Technician to join our team at Strode Park Foundation. As an IT Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our service users, ensuring that they have access to the technology they need to live their lives to the fullest.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Support: Provide technical support and assistance to service users, including creating new users in Microsoft Windows Server Active Directory and Office 365, responding to general support calls, and setting up laptops, PCs, and mobile devices.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring that service users have access to the technology they need.
- System Administration: Assist with the administration of our IT systems, including ensuring the security and safety of all digital systems and data.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Senior IT Support Technician and other members of the team to ensure that technical support is provided in a timely and effective manner.
- Experience: Previous relevant experience of Level 1 and 2 support in a service desk type role, or IT Level 3 qualification or apprenticeship.
- Education: Grades A-C (9-4) in GCSE maths and English language (or Functional Skills Level 2 or A-levels).
- Skills: Ability to work effectively and prioritize own workload, flexibility to occasionally work anti-social hours, and a driving license to travel to our sites.
