Support Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Professional to join our team at CareTech Community Services Ltd.
As a Support Professional, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, severe physical disabilities, autistic spectrum disorder, challenging behaviour, mental health, forensic needs, and acquired brain injury.
You will be responsible for implementing individual support plans and activities, maintaining effective communication and liaison with service users, families, and others, and supporting service users with daily living tasks such as meal preparation, laundry, and social events.

Key Responsibilities- Participate in the day-to-day implementation of individual support plans and activities
- Maintain effective communication and liaison with service users, families, and others
- Support service users with daily living tasks, including meal preparation, laundry, and social events
- Maintain accurate notes and records as required
- Work as part of a team to provide high-quality care
- Diploma in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards one
- Experience in supporting adults with challenging behaviour, learning disabilities, and/or mental health issues
- Ability to keep calm under pressure
- Confidence to work alone or as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Passion to work with vulnerable adults
- Desire and commitment to achieve high standards of safeguarding
