We are seeking a Temporary SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a bespoke Specialist School in Gloucestershire. The school supports children aged 11-16 with SEMH needs.

Job Role:

The purpose of this role is to provide support to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in a classroom setting. As a Temporary SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to create a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with SEND in a classroom setting
  • Assist teachers with lesson planning and delivery
  • Provide individualized support to students with specific needs
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with SEND
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability
