Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Occupational Therapist to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting students with diverse needs and contributing to an inclusive and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Intervention Plans: Assess students' needs and create personalized intervention plans to help them reach their full potential.
  • Collaborate with Teachers and Parents: Work closely with teachers and parents to implement effective strategies and ensure seamless communication.
  • Monitor and Evaluate Progress: Regularly monitor and evaluate students' progress, making adjustments to plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Provide Training and Support: Offer training and support to staff on occupational therapy techniques to enhance their skills and confidence.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications and Experience: Relevant Occupational Therapy qualification (e.g., BSc/MSc in Occupational Therapy) and experience working with SEN children and young people.
  • Registration and Certification: Registration with a recognized professional body and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent Communication and Organizational Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
