As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for analyzing customer payments, pursuing remittances, and investigating unallocated cash reasons.
Your primary objective will be to ensure accurate and efficient credit allocation and investigation tasks, while developing and refining credit control processes. You will also be responsible for communicating with customers to ensure full reconciliation for each transaction and updating the system to reflect this.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyze customer payments with precision and actively pursue remittances
* Record transactions, allocate funds, and investigate unallocated cash reasons
* Conduct credit allocation and investigation tasks with accuracy and efficiency
* Develop and refine credit control processes
* Communicate with customers to ensure full reconciliation for each transaction
* Investigate and resolve issues with client accounts
* Prepare financial reports related to accounts receivable
* Liaise with customers and the sales team
* Complete ad hoc reports and tasks as requested by management
Requirements:
* 3-5 years of credit control experience
* Strong Microsoft Excel skills
* Creative thinking
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
