ASC Teaching Assistant

We are seeking an experienced ASC SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team at a school near Preston. The successful candidate will support pupils with severe ASC in key stage 3 and 4, providing one-to-one and small group support.
Key Responsibilities- Support pupils with severe ASC in key stage 3 and 4
- Provide one-to-one and small group support
- Work closely with parents and carers to provide the best possible outcome for each child
- Participate in enrichment activities to encourage pupil progress
- Previous experience working with KS3 pupils with Autism (essential)
- Previous experience working with young people (which we can reference)
- Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, but we can provide training)
- Up-to-date Prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, but we can provide training)
- Up-to-date behaviour management training (desirable, highly recommended)
- Full-time position
- Ongoing contract
- Minimum rate of pay: £100 - £120
- Hours: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
