We are seeking a compassionate and patient tutor to provide 1-1 education support to young people with special needs in the Chesterfield area.
About the Role:This is a temporary position, with the option to become permanent in the future. As a tutor, you will work with pupils who have a range of needs, including Autism, learning difficulties, and SEMH needs. You will provide support in English, Maths, and Life Skills, and help pupils prepare to transition back to school.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide 1-1 education support to pupils with special needs
- Work with pupils to develop their English, Maths, and Life Skills
- Help pupils prepare to transition back to school
- Work with a range of pupils, including those with Autism, learning difficulties, and SEMH needs
- Qualification in teaching or a related field
- Experience working with pupils with special needs
- Resilience, patience, and compassion
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
