The Role: Senior Residential Support Worker

This full-time, permanent position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of young people. As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and supportive environment where children can thrive.

Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to a positive and enriching atmosphere within the residential home, fostering emotional security, happiness, and personal growth for the children.
  • Provide transportation for young people to various destinations, ensuring their safety and well-being during outings such as school trips, shopping excursions, and recreational activities.
  • Be available for sleeping-in shifts as required, providing on-site support and responding promptly to any emergencies or needs that may arise during the night.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to undertake additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned by the Registered Manager or their designated deputy.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Proven experience working in a residential setting regulated by Ofsted.
  • Minimum of two years of experience working within an EBD residential children's home specifically for children aged 8 to 18.
  • Level 3 Diploma for Children, Young People and Families Practitioner (or equivalent qualification).
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
