About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Officer to join our team at Active Leeds. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the development and delivery of the Run Leeds programme, which aims to increase physical activity levels among underrepresented groups in Leeds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage the Run Leeds programme, including developing and implementing project plans, budgets, and timelines.
  • Work closely with local communities, stakeholders, and partners to promote the programme and engage new participants.
  • Develop and deliver physical activity sessions and programmes that meet the needs of diverse groups, including women, girls, and people from priority areas.
  • Monitor and evaluate programme outcomes, making adjustments as needed to ensure programme success.
  • Collaborate with other teams and departments to ensure effective project management and coordination.

Requirements:

  • UKCC Level 2 qualifications or equivalent physical activity instructor qualifications.
  • Experience in project management, community development, and physical activity promotion.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Computer literacy in a variety of software packages, including Microsoft Office and project management tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
