Position Overview

Scantec Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Sales and Customer Support Specialist to join a prominent Food Manufacturing organization. This role is essential in ensuring seamless operations within the sales department.

Note: This position is not open to candidates requiring work visas or sponsorship.

The Sales and Customer Support Specialist will play a vital role in managing sales orders and providing support to both UK trade and wholesale clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitating the efficient delivery of products while overseeing payments from UK wholesalers and direct trade customers.
  • Enhancing the effectiveness of the sales office by providing dedicated administrative support.
  • Addressing customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Entering orders into the NAV/CRM system accurately.
  • Focusing on the support of the UK wholesale and trade customer base.
  • Providing administrative assistance for national accounts, including support for presentations and daily activities.
  • Engaging in telesales activities, including upselling opportunities.
  • Conducting cold calls to explore new business prospects.

The ideal candidate will possess experience in customer service and telesales within a manufacturing context, along with proficiency in IT tools such as Office 365, PowerPoint, and NAV.

Successful candidates will demonstrate strong communication skills, the ability to foster robust relationships, and exceptional organizational capabilities. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to addressing customer inquiries effectively are essential.
