About the Role

Iron Mountain is seeking a skilled Critical Facilities Technician to join our team in a data center environment. As a critical member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and uptime of our data center's electrical and mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform regular maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems to ensure reliability and uptime.
  • Provide technical and facility support in a 24x7 data center environment.
  • Monitor and resolve issues with electrical, HVAC, civil, and building management systems.
  • Take ownership of IMDC's critical power, cooling/environmental, security & support systems and facilities to meet or exceed uptime service levels.
  • Proactively support the safety of the environment & occupants and ensure all safety procedures are adhered to while performing work.

Requirements and Competencies

  • Experience in a critical operations environment and/or data center experience preferred.
  • Relevant electrical, electrical installation, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Multi-tasking and attention to detail are essential.
  • Organization and prioritization skills are necessary to manage work tasks efficiently.
  • Dedication and a desire to learn are key to growing your career within Iron Mountain.
  • Customer service mentality is essential in a customer-focused environment.
