Job Summary

The successful candidate will become a valued member of the Urology team at York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, working alongside 8 consultants, 5 middle grades, and a team of specialist nurses and junior doctors. The role will involve supporting both inpatient and outpatient services, dividing time between the operating theatres, wards, day surgery unit, diagnostic centre, and clinics.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Supporting inpatient and outpatient services in Urology
  • Working in a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Participating in audits and presenting findings
  • Attending annual appraisal and personal development plan review
Requirements

To be successful in this role, the candidate will need:

  • Full GMC Registration with a licence to practice
  • Experience of undertaking audits and presenting findings
  • Minimum 2-years' experience in Urology
  • Able to perform flexible cystoscopy independently
