Genetic Molecular Biologist

We are seeking an experienced Molecular Biologist to join our research and development team at Taylorollinson Ltd, a Cambridge-based Biotechnology company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct R&D projects to improve new and existing products in our product portfolio.
  • Manage project timelines, troubleshoot, and develop processes to ensure efficiency.
  • Execute experiments, analyze results, and present findings.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant scientific and technical advancements.
  • Facilitate communication between the R&D team and other departments.
  • Ensure adherence to quality management systems, Health & Safety practices, and ISO accreditations.
  • Provide technical expertise and training to team members.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience running independent research projects and supporting commercial product development.
  • Experience with IVD molecular biology products.
  • Strong technical capability in molecular biology techniques, including PCR, DNA extraction, and FISH.
  • Knowledge of histology, cyto-genetics, and microbiological expression.
  • Experience working to ISO13485 and ISO 9001.
