Cardiothoracic Anaesthetist

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Cardiothoracic Anaesthetist to join our team at the University Hospital of North Midlands NHS Trust. The successful applicant will work within the integrated cardiac services, which includes Cardiothoracic Critical Care, Cardiothoracic Surgery, and a comprehensive Cardiology Department.
About the RoleThe Cardiothoracic Unit is a hard working and cohesive group of clinical professionals providing high quality care for the people of Staffordshire and surrounding areas. The successful applicant will join a team of 10 Cardiothoracic Anaesthetists, working within the integrated cardiac services, which includes Cardiothoracic Critical Care, Cardiothoracic Surgery, and a comprehensive Cardiology Department.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality anaesthetic care for patients undergoing cardiothoracic surgery
- Work collaboratively with the cardiothoracic surgical team to deliver excellent patient outcomes
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols
- Participate in the education and training of junior doctors and other healthcare professionals
- FRCA or equivalent qualification
- Full GMC Registration
- Experience working as a Fellow or an Advanced Trainee in CT Anaesthesia
- TOE certification
