Position Overview

Are you an experienced HR professional with a background in the healthcare sector? We are seeking a dedicated HR Business Consultant to join our team.

Role Summary

This is a part-time, permanent role that requires a commitment of four days per week. The position offers a flexible working arrangement, allowing for two days on-site with the remainder of the week working remotely.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Head of HR to develop strategic plans and objectives that align with organizational goals and industry best practices.
  • Provide leadership, support, and mentorship to the Assistant HR Consultant.
  • Analyze future workforce demands, trends, and metrics to inform structural changes.
  • Assist in the design and execution of organizational restructures at all levels.
  • Work alongside departmental teams and the Organizational Development & Inclusion teams to identify training needs and implement innovative solutions.
  • Offer expert advice and guidance to management on a wide range of employee relations issues, including restructuring, disciplinary actions, grievances, performance management, and absence management.
  • Support the Assistant HR Consultant in advancing employee relations cases within their scope.
  • Facilitate various people-related initiatives, such as pay reviews and annual performance conversations.
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues to enhance processes and deliver effective HR operational support to the faculty.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess substantial experience as an HR Business Partner within a large and complex organization, particularly in a healthcare or NHS-related environment.
