Senior Finance Manager - Management Accounts at Liberty Global

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Manager to join our Management Accounts team at Liberty Global. This is a hybrid working position, where you'll spend 2 days in the office and 3 days working remotely.

As a Senior Finance Manager, you will lead teams, workstreams, and projects across various group and external business units, reporting to the Management Accounts Divisional Director. Your role involves delivering accurate financial reporting and analysis to internal and external stakeholders across the Liberty Global Footprint.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Risk Management: Identify and manage operational and financial risks related to OCF and Balance Sheet accounts.
  • Team Development: Mentor, manage, and develop your team.
  • Process Expertise: Be an expert on financial processes, liaise with the business for changes, and own process amendments for accurate accounting.
  • Reporting: Review and present divisional financial reporting packs, meeting deadlines and providing ad hoc reports.
  • Variance Analysis: Provide meaningful commercial commentary with variance analysis.
  • Compliance and Assurance: Ensure GAAP-compliant financial policies, review Balance Sheet accounts, manage SOX controls, and identify non-recurring transactions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Finance Manager or similar role
  • Professional Accountancy qualification with considerable PQE
  • Team leadership experience
  • Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS
  • Experience in large complex corporate structures
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Financial systems skills (e.g. Oracle, Hyperion/HFM)
  • Willingness to travel overseas occasionally for relationship building
