Job Title: Neonatal Intensive Care Sister/Charge Nurse

We are seeking an experienced neonatal intensive care sister/charge nurse to join our team at the Royal London Hospital. This role offers a great opportunity for learning, development, and career growth.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Care for a range of sick neonates from extreme prematurity to term gestation
  • Provide surgical and medical interventions to maintain the health of these precious tiny lives
  • Develop and implement care plans to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse, Children's Nurse, or Midwife qualification
  • Mentorship and assessment experience in the clinical area
  • Neonatal course completion (all modules)
  • Evidence of continuing education in relevant field of practice
Person Specification:
  • Proven professional competence in neonatal care
  • Experience of good budgetary control and efficient use of resources
  • Awareness of research and audit in neonatal services
  • Awareness of current issues and reforms in the NHS and neonatal services
Salary:

£42,471 to £50,364 per annum (pay award pending)

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and a Disclosure and Barring Service check will be required.
