Position Overview
We are seeking an accomplished Education Administrator to join our dynamic team at the Blizard Institute. This role is pivotal in delivering comprehensive administrative support for our educational initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the enhancement of various educational programs, adhering to established protocols to ensure smooth service delivery while positively impacting both postgraduate and undergraduate student experiences. Responsibilities include:
- Managing operational tasks related to education, including responding to inquiries from students and staff.
- Collecting and analyzing data for reporting purposes.
- Updating e-learning platforms and facilitating teaching arrangements.
- Processing financial transactions related to educational activities.
This position emphasizes daily program management, which encompasses collaboration with faculty, planning of instructional activities, communication with students, assessment administration, and budget oversight. The administrator will also maintain precise student records, manage scheduling, and address queries efficiently. Additionally, there may be opportunities to assist with on-site educational events such as recruitment fairs and summer programs.
About the Blizard Institute
Established in 2003, the Blizard Institute is a prominent entity within the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry at Queen Mary University of London. Comprising approximately 400 staff across four academic centers and one Public Engagement Center, the Institute supports around 750 postgraduate research and taught students, striving for excellence in research, education, and clinical services.
