About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our Inpatient Psychology team at Langdon Hospital in Dawlish. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with experienced Clinical, Forensic, Counselling Psychologists, Psychotherapists, and Arts Therapists to provide specialist psychological work to individuals who work or live at Langdon Hospital.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct specialist psychological assessments and treatments in a forensic mental health setting.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Provide training and support to staff on mental health and wellbeing.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative care pathways and therapeutic learning cultures.
  • Participate in audits and research to improve service delivery.

Requirements
  • BA or BSc in Psychology eligible recognized by the British Psychological Society.
  • Experience of specialist psychological assessment and treatment in a forensic mental health setting.
  • Experience of teaching and training.
  • Small-scale project management.
