We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Greater Manchester Mental Health. As a key member of our inpatient psychology team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological assessments, formulations, and interventions to adults with mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Provide individual and group-based interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and other evidence-based approaches.
- Collaborate with ward managers and nursing staff to develop trauma-informed and recovery-focused care pathways.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of service-wide initiatives and policies.
- Participate in regular supervision and peer review to ensure high-quality practice and ongoing professional development.
- Postgraduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology, as accredited by the British Psychological Society.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council as a Practising Psychologist.
- Experience of working with adults with mental health needs, including those with complex and severe presentations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to ongoing professional development.
