Main Duties of the JobThe Clinical Psychologist will be responsible for providing individual and group-based interventions, including assessment, formulation, and brief intervention. They will also contribute to the development of care pathways that are trauma-informed and recovery-focused. The successful candidate will work closely with the Ward Manager and Nursing Clinical Leads to ensure seamless care delivery.

Person SpecificationThe ideal candidate will possess a postgraduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology, as accredited by the British Psychological Society. They will also have experience of working with a wide variety of client groups, across the whole life course, presenting problems that reflect the full range of clinical severity. The successful candidate will be able to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, complex, highly technical, and/or clinically sensitive information to clients, their families, carers, and other professional colleagues.
