Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Greater Manchester Mental Health. This is a replacement post, and we are looking for a professional who can provide a consultative, supervisory, and supportive role to our multi-disciplinary team.
Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking assessments of referrals/admissions to the service, diagnosing and formulating management plans in complex presentations, and providing management in treatment-resistant and complex cases.
They will also be responsible for assessing and managing risk, including vulnerability, suicide risk, risks to health and safety, and risk of harm to others. Additionally, they will prepare Mental Health Review Tribunal and Managers' Hearings reports and attend subsequent hearings.
Leadership Role
The successful candidate will lead clinical decision-making in the multi-disciplinary team to ensure the delivery of high-quality care. They will also develop service clinical priorities in line with national and professional guidance and standards.

Salary and Benefits

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A medical degree from a recognised institution
