Position Overview

Allied Reliability is in search of an Industrial Maintenance Specialist for the 3rd Shift to support the upkeep of an industrial laundry facility. This role requires a solid background in industrial maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be tasked with:

  • Assisting in the repair, maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment systems and components, including washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyor systems, and boilers.
  • Participating in preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
  • Addressing safety concerns and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
  • Conducting indoor and outdoor housekeeping duties.
  • Monitoring inventory supplies and maintaining accurate maintenance records.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in repairing industrial processing equipment, either in an industrial setting or military service.
  • The ability to comprehend maintenance literature written in English.
  • Experience with blueprints and schematics.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • The capability to stand for extended periods during an 8-hour shift.
  • A High School Diploma or GED.
Preferred Skills

Additional qualifications that would be advantageous include:

  • Knowledge of boiler systems.
  • Experience in HVAC systems.
  • Skills in welding activities, including MIG, TIG, ARC cutting, and brazing.
