About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team to undertake planned maintenance, installation, alteration, and repair work in a commercial and domestic setting in the heart of York.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake planned maintenance, installation, alteration, and repair work in a commercial and domestic setting.
  • Work in a friendly, supportive, and multi-skilled technical team.
  • Operate within a building service environment and implement practical techniques used in relevant work areas.
  • Assess non-routine problems and suggest solutions.
  • Work flexibly to meet changing needs or circumstances.
Requirements
  • Craft trade apprentice, trained to City and Guilds Level in the core trade or equivalent qualifications or experience.
  • Full UK Driving licence.
  • Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and procedures.
  • Demonstrable building services experience obtained within a building service environment.
  • Extensive experience of health and safety risk management techniques.
  • Ability to assess non-routine problems and suggest solutions.
  • Flexible approach to workload and hours.
