Job Summary:

AECOM is seeking an experienced Senior Water Scientist/Hydrologist to join our Water Environment team. This is a multi-disciplinary team with specialists in geomorphology, hydrology, hydro-ecology, water quality, and hydrogeology. We work for clients from across the public and private sectors, including government agencies, water companies, and developers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead high-quality project delivery and provide technical expertise on water quality and hydrology studies.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop and implement water environment projects, including hydrological investigations, water quality studies, and hydroecological studies.
  • Develop and manage project proposals, reports, and presentations to clients.
  • Provide coaching and training to junior team members and peers.
  • Participate in business development and work-winning activities to grow the Water Environment team.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree or Ph.D. in a relevant field (geography, physical sciences, engineering, etc.).
  • Proficiency in hydrological software and environmental modeling (hydrological/hydraulic/water quality/water resources).
  • Proficiency in GIS software.
  • Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
  • Experience in technical project delivery and team leadership.
