Mental Health Crisis Recovery Worker

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mental Health Crisis Recovery Worker to join our team in Lincoln. As a key member of our 24/7 crisis recovery service, you will provide support to adults in crisis due to a decline in their mental health.

About the Role

You will work within a small team, providing support using the therapeutic intervention model for individuals who utilize our service. Your role will involve working with clients to develop and deliver client-led recovery, promoting control and maximizing independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to adults in crisis due to a decline in their mental health
  • Work with clients to develop and deliver client-led recovery plans
  • Liaise with external agencies to promote access to a wide range of activities and resources
  • Participate in a varied rota and shift patterns, including sleep ins/waking nights and 24/7 support
Requirements
  • Understanding of mental health issues
  • At least 6 months working within a social care setting (ideally mental health focused)
  • Flexibility to participate in a varied rota and shift patterns
  • Excellent communication skills and a flexible, creative, and empathetic approach
