Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Treatment: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify their mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Medical Review: Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to review patient progress and make informed decisions about their care.
  • Home Visits: Visit patients in their homes to provide ongoing care and support.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare accurate and comprehensive reports on patient progress and maintain up-to-date records.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines and best practices in mental health care.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: MBBS or equivalent medical qualification, fully registered with the GMC, and included on the GMC Specialist register.
  • Clinical Experience: Proven experience in assessing and managing patients with mental health conditions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Professional Membership: Membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists or equivalent.
