We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Recovery Specialist to join our team at Turning Point. As a Recovery Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering substance use treatment and recovery services to individuals in Lincolnshire.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver interactive workshops on drugs and alcohol to Key Stage 2-5 students, providing factual and up-to-date harm reduction information to enable young people to make informed choices.
- Provide drug and alcohol awareness sessions to professionals, families, and other stakeholders, promoting a better understanding of the risks and how to stay safe.
- Work in partnership with Safer Lincolnshire Partnership, specifically the Stay Safe Partnership, to deliver age-appropriate workshops and support young people in making positive choices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with young people, professionals, and stakeholders.
- Experience of delivering and designing workshops, with a strong understanding of drug and alcohol use.
- Ability to work as part of a team, with a commitment to Turning Point's values and principles.
