About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Certitude Support. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities to live the lives they desire.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide person-centred support, enabling individuals to develop new skills, build relationships, and participate in activities that bring them joy and meaning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build strong relationships with individuals and their support networks
  • Promote choice and participation in daily tasks and activities
  • Support individuals to develop their confidence and independence
  • Encourage participation in activities that promote physical and mental well-being
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless support and care
Requirements
  • Ability to motivate and empower individuals to achieve their goals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Practical and organised with a focus on delivering high-quality support
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Basic IT skills and ability to use technology to support individuals
