About the Role

Greenstaff Medical is seeking a skilled Community Healthcare Assistant to join our team. As a Community Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients in their own homes, providing personalized care and companionship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide emotional support to individuals and their families, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Deliver high-quality care, including personal care, administering medication, and supporting clients with limited mobility.
  • Assist clients with household tasks, personal care, and transportation to appointments.
  • Monitor and support clients' healthcare needs, including administering medication and maintaining accurate records.
  • Work collaboratively with the management team to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements
  • Right to work in the UK
  • DBS Check on the Update Service (one can be applied for upon application if you do not have one)
  • Proof of Mandatory Training (If none, free training will be provided as part of the compliance process)
  • 2 x References
  • A minimum of 3 - 6 months' experience of being a Community Healthcare Assistant in Homecare or Community settings.

  • Acquired Brain Injuries experience
  • End-of-life Care experience
Travel Requirements
  • A full driving license and insurance on your vehicle for business use (taking clients out in your car). If you have no driving license, then you must be able to easily travel to the location of the client in a timely manner (within a reasonable distance)
