About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and SACT-trained Community Chemotherapy Nurse Specialist to join our team on a 3-6 month contract. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering chemotherapy treatments in patients' homes, providing high-quality care with a focus on safety and compassion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer chemotherapy treatments to patients in a community setting.
- Work independently to assess, plan, and implement patient care.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Manage your schedule and workload efficiently, prioritizing patient safety and comfort.
Requirements:
- SACT training and certification (mandatory).
- Experience in administering chemotherapy independently.
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Access to a car and valid full UK drivers license.
