About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and SACT-trained Community Chemotherapy Nurse Specialist to join our team on a 3-6 month contract. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering chemotherapy treatments in patients' homes, providing high-quality care with a focus on safety and compassion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer chemotherapy treatments to patients in a community setting.
  • Work independently to assess, plan, and implement patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Manage your schedule and workload efficiently, prioritizing patient safety and comfort.

Requirements:

  • SACT training and certification (mandatory).
  • Experience in administering chemotherapy independently.
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • Access to a car and valid full UK drivers license.
