About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Chemotherapy Nurse to provide high-quality care to patients in a community setting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering chemotherapy treatments in patients' homes, prioritizing patient safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer chemotherapy treatments to patients in a community setting, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
  • Assess, plan, and implement patient care, working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough patient records, documenting all interactions and treatments.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals, providing clear and concise information.
  • Manage your schedule and workload efficiently, prioritizing patient needs and comfort.

Requirements:

  • Current SACT training and certification.
  • Experience in administering chemotherapy independently, with a focus on patient safety and comfort.
  • Ability to work autonomously, with minimal supervision, and make sound clinical decisions.
  • Access to a car and a valid full UK driver's license.
