Senior Trade Finance Lawyer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Trade Finance Lawyer to join our team in London. As a key member of our Structured Trade Finance team, you will be responsible for advising clients on complex trade finance transactions, including drafting and negotiating facility agreements, advising on security instruments, and handling contractual liens.

About the Role
  • Advise clients on trade finance transactions, including pre-export finance, prepayment finance, stock/inventory finance, and repo financing structures.
  • Draft and negotiate facility agreements, security instruments, and other trade finance documents.
  • Handle contractual liens, documentary credits, standby credits, and guarantees.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement trade finance strategies.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in trade finance law.
  • Strong knowledge of trade finance transactions, including pre-export finance, prepayment finance, and repo financing structures.
  • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
