Position Overview: We invite applications for a Clinical Fellowship in Bariatric Surgery, offered for a fixed term of 12 months.
About the Bariatric Unit: Established in 2007, the Bariatric Unit at University College London Hospitals (UCLH) is recognized as a leading Bariatric Centre, renowned for delivering high-quality and high-volume advanced laparoscopic bariatric surgical procedures.
Surgical Expertise: Our team routinely performs a variety of surgical interventions, including Roux-en-Y gastric bypass, sleeve gastrectomy, one-anastomosis gastric bypass, and complex revision surgeries.
Fellowship Goals: This fellowship is designed as a training opportunity for Senior Upper GI/Surgical Trainees or surgeons who are peri- or post-CCT, possessing documented advanced laparoscopic skills and a keen interest in bariatric surgery. The program aims to cultivate specific skills and competencies in the field of bariatric surgery and is accredited by the Royal College of Surgeons under the National Fellowship Scheme.
