About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced TechOps Generalist to join our team at Octopus Energy. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our technical infrastructure and providing exceptional support to our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to employees across the organization, troubleshooting and resolving a wide range of technical issues.
  • Collaborate with our Security team to ensure the security and integrity of our systems and data.
  • Design and implement automation solutions to improve efficiency and user experience.
  • Manage and maintain our technical infrastructure, including networks, meeting rooms, printers, and digital signage.
  • Lead and manage complex technical projects, working closely with stakeholders across the business.
Requirements
  • Experience leading technical projects across various technologies and platforms.
  • Experience with scripting, APIs, and automating repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of ambiguity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with multiple teams and managing multiple stakeholders.
