Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the warehouse and transportation operations, ensuring compliance and efficiency in warehousing and storage. Responsible for reporting on third-party logistics (3PL) warehouse and logistics key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive service improvements and cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Supply Planning on warehousing and logistics profit and loss statements.
  • Manage daily relationships with 3PL providers, ensuring exceptional service delivery to our customers.
  • Establish and manage contracts with third-party warehousing, ensuring adherence to cost, quality, and service standards.
  • Optimize internal and external warehouse capacity to meet fluctuating seasonal demands.
  • Analyze KPIs, conduct root cause analyses, and implement solutions for recurring challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with international export regulations.
  • Act as the primary contact for all 3PL and internal functions, providing regular forecasts and updates on key operational activities.
  • Manage global and local logistics needs, including transportation from warehouse to customer and from vendors to warehouse.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with logistics partners, ensuring best-in-class service at optimal costs.
  • Supervise the Logistics Coordinator, ensuring timely completion of critical tasks and access to relevant information.
  • Stay updated on international trade requirements to ensure compliance.
  • Monitor quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and overall efficiency.
  • Utilize stakeholder management skills to collaborate across the supply chain and broader business, aligning our network with Trinny London's long-term objectives.
  • Work with the Head of Supply Planning to assess and optimize our supply chain network for current and future needs.
  • Collaborate closely with the Product Innovation team to provide logistical insights on new product development and packaging innovations.
  • Support the Head of Supply Planning in enhancing our fulfillment processes, implementing corrective actions, and adapting to evolving technologies.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, operations, logistics, business administration, transportation, or engineering is preferred.
  • Proven experience in warehouse, logistics, or transportation management.
  • Experience in managing and developing team members.
  • Strong team player with the ability to mentor and train junior staff.
  • Capability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Excel with strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • A commitment to continuous improvement in processes and efficiencies.
