Warehouse Supervisor Job Description

**Job Summary:**

Kevin Theobald Employment Agency is seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Supervisor to oversee all warehouse activities, ensuring efficient processes and accurate record-keeping. The ideal candidate will have experience in packing valuable items and possess excellent leadership and people management skills.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Supervise and coordinate all warehouse activities and operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching items
* Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance with safety regulations
* Ensure efficient processes are in place for the receiving and dispatching of goods, and track and coordinate the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials
* Manage warehouse space, ensuring it is utilised effectively and kept clean and organised
* Arrange warehouse handling equipment and load/unload goods
* Resolve issues regarding shipped orders and liaise with other departments
* Implement operational warehouse policies and procedures, and manage warehouse staff, including hiring, training, evaluation, and discipline

**Requirements:**

* Proven work experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar role
* Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and systems
* Knowledge of warehouse operations and health and safety regulations
* Excellent leadership and people management skills
* Ability to handle physical workload, including lifting heavy items
* Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
