Job Title: Head of Warehouse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Operations Supervisor to join our team at Japan Centre Group. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our warehouse, ensuring efficient and effective management of stock, and providing support to the Warehouse Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring accurate inventory levels and timely delivery.
  • Supervise and assist warehouse staff in receiving, picking, and replenishment tasks, ensuring high standards of quality and productivity.
  • Assist in the administration of the Stock Control system, including data entry and reporting.
  • Oversee the planning and coordination of warehouse operations, including shift rotas and team management.
  • Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure seamless integration of warehouse operations with other departments.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Proficiency in computer operations, including Google Sheets and Google Docs.
  • Ability to lift, bend, and stretch, with manual handling skills.
  • Japanese language skills, including reading, writing, and speaking.
