Role Overview:
As the Manager for Schools and Community Services, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the support provided to Children, Young People, and Families. Your expertise in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) will be essential in ensuring that vulnerable young individuals receive the assistance they need.

About Norfolk County Council:

The introduction of our new School and Community Cluster model aims to enhance our capacity to support children, young people, and families effectively and promptly.

Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for:
• Leading and managing the School and Community service in West Norfolk, ensuring that early intervention and preventative services are effectively delivered in collaboration with educational institutions and families.

• Supervising case management to guarantee that all interventions are well-documented and lead to successful outcomes.

• Ensuring accountability for service performance targets and collaborating with stakeholders to address inequalities and promote inclusive practices.

• Fostering relationship-based practices within a Community of Practice, enhancing partnerships with statutory and voluntary organizations to improve service delivery.

• Utilizing data and local insights to assess community needs and shape responsive services within the School and Community framework.

• Supporting the Head of Service in delivering high-quality services through professional development and quality assurance initiatives.
