Job Summary:

Rev & Regs is seeking a highly skilled Claims Team Leader to join our team. As a Claims Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of claim handlers, ensuring that all claims are handled in a proactive manner and in accordance with our Claims Philosophy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of claim handlers, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are equipped to handle complex claims.
  • Claims Oversight: Take responsibility for and oversight of all claims handled by the team, monitoring and overseeing the progress of individual team members' objectives.
  • Claims Philosophy: Ensure that all claims are handled in accordance with our Claims Philosophy, which emphasizes proactive and efficient handling of claims.
  • Policy Knowledge: Have a detailed knowledge of policy wordings and their application for all classes of business handled by the team.
  • Communication: Maintain good and regular lines of communication with key stakeholders, including brokers and external service providers.
  • Problem-Solving: Act on feedback on claims service and address any problems quickly, escalating if necessary.

Requirements:

  • Leadership Experience: Proven leadership capability or the ability to lead a team.
  • Claims Experience: Relevant experience in claims handling, including studying towards or having a real desire to study towards CII qualifications.
  • Technical Skills: Good Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook, and the ability to become fully competent with our in-house systems.
  • Time Management: Excellent time management skills, with the ability to adhere to demanding service level standards and maintain an active case load.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Location: Hybrid (3 days per week in Manchester or Croydon office)

Salary: £51,000 plus 10% bonus
