Job Summary:

Aston Charles Ltd is seeking an experienced Claims Manager to join their BTE Legal Expenses Claims Team. As a Claims Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing a small team, overseeing claims handled within the team, and providing support to senior leaders in the development and promotion of the Legal Expenses Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a small team of claims professionals
  • Oversee the team's workload and ensure timely and accurate claims handling
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve claims outcomes and efficiency
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and promote the Legal Expenses Team
  • Provide support and guidance to team members on claims handling and policy wordings

Requirements:

  • Leadership experience within a commercial claims environment
  • Strong knowledge of insurance policy wordings and their application
  • Ability to manage and motivate a team of claims professionals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Legal qualification (desirable)
