As an E-Commerce Operations Coordinator, you will be instrumental in assisting our Operations Manager to facilitate the effective functioning of our online retail operations. Your primary duties will encompass overseeing product listings, tracking inventory levels, processing customer orders, and delivering outstanding customer support. You will collaborate closely with various teams, including Logistics, Marketing, and E-commerce, to enhance sales processes and contribute to the overall expansion of our digital commerce business.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Oversight:
- Develop and sustain product listings on Sage.
- Ensure the precision and completeness of product details, images, and pricing.
- Engage with vendors and suppliers to gather product information and update inventory levels as necessary.
- Perform regular audits of product listings to identify and rectify any inconsistencies or inaccuracies.
Order Management:
- Execute customer orders promptly and accurately, including order verification, payment processing, and shipment coordination, including picking and packing.
- Handle phone orders and communicate order status and tracking information to customers, ensuring excellent customer service and resolving any issues or inquiries swiftly.
- Supervise order fulfillment and shipping processes to guarantee timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
Inventory Control:
- Maintain precise inventory records and stock levels, monitoring product availability and replenishment requirements.
- Collaborate with logistics teams to manage inventory transfers, stock adjustments, and returns.
- Coordinate shipment schedules and logistics with internal teams and external partners.
Sales Assistance:
- Support the E-Commerce and Marketing team in generating leads. Provide insights and feedback on customer preferences, competitor analysis, market trends, and competitor activities to aid strategic decision-making.
Additional Information:
- Salary: Up to £28,000 depending on experience.
- This is an office-based role requiring full-time attendance from Monday to Friday.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
● Demonstrated experience in operations, sales support, or customer service, preferably within the e-commerce sector.
● Strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
● Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel).
● Experience with Sage 50 Accounts is desirable.
