Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management: Oversee the operational management of nurseries within your area, ensuring they meet regulatory and company standards.
- Leadership and Development: Support and develop Nursery Managers to ensure high levels of performance and quality across all sites.
- Compliance and Quality: Conduct regular site visits, audits, and inspections to monitor compliance with policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
- Staffing and Recruitment: Manage staffing, recruitment, and retention to ensure each nursery is well-staffed with qualified professionals.
- Financial Management: Manage budgets and financial performance, ensuring nurseries operate within financial targets.
- Community Engagement: Build strong relationships with parents and external agencies, maintaining a positive reputation within the community.
- Safeguarding: Ensure safeguarding and child protection protocols are strictly followed across all settings.
Requirements:
- Leadership Experience: Proven experience as an Area Manager or Senior Nursery Manager within the childcare or early years education sector.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
- Regulatory Knowledge: A thorough understanding of early years standards, regulatory frameworks, and safeguarding practices.
- Business Acumen: Strong business acumen with experience in budget management and financial oversight.
