Assistant Psychologist, General Paediatric Psychology Service

About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Assistant Psychologist to join our General Paediatric Psychology Service (GPPS) team. As an Assistant Psychologist, you will work closely with our team of qualified Clinical Psychologists to provide psychological interventions to children and young people with medical conditions, and their families.
Main Responsibilities
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Supporting Clinical Psychologists in delivering psychological interventions to children, young people, and families
- Developing resources for the team and wider multidisciplinary team (MDT)
- Assessing the effectiveness of the service offered to children, young people, and families
- Providing support to colleagues in education concerning the psychological needs of children with medical conditions
