Assistant Psychologist, General Paediatric Psychology Service

About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Assistant Psychologist to join our General Paediatric Psychology Service (GPPS) team. As an Assistant Psychologist, you will work closely with our team of qualified Clinical Psychologists to deliver psychological interventions to children, young people, and families.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Clinical Psychologists in delivering psychological interventions to children, young people, and families.
- Develop resources for the team and wider Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT).
- Assess the effectiveness of the service offered to children, young people, and families.
- Provide support to colleagues in education concerning the psychological needs of children with medical conditions.

Requirements
- Graduate membership of the British Psychological Society (BPS) or eligible for graduate membership.
- Good psychology degree.
- Knowledge of psychological and mental health issues for children and young people in paediatric or surgical settings.
