We are seeking a Senior Design Manager to join our Build division, working on a wide range of Design & Build projects in the Industrial & Logistics, Commercial and Life Sciences space.

About the Role

As a Senior Design Manager, you will be responsible for the management and delivery of design management in accordance with the agreed design programme and deliverable schedule. You will work closely with our project teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects, and provide guidance and support to junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver design management services to meet project requirements
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Lead and manage project teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Identify and mitigate risks to project delivery

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Solid design management experience from a Tier 1 Main Contractor
  • Construction experience from a Build background
  • Understanding of modern methods of construction and off-site manufacture
  • Excellent communication skills - written / spoken
