Our Build division is seeking a Senior Design Manager to join our team and work on multiple projects in the Industrial & Logistics, Commercial, and Life Sciences space.

About the Role

As a Senior Design Manager, you will be responsible for the management and delivery of design management in accordance with the agreed design programme and deliverable schedule. You will work closely with our project teams to ensure that design deliverables are met on time and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and deliver design management services across multiple projects
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers
  • Ensure that design deliverables are met on time and to the required quality standards
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate design risks
  • Develop and implement design management processes and procedures to ensure consistency and quality
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Solid design management experience from a Tier 1 Main Contractor
  • Construction experience from a Build background
  • Understanding of modern methods of construction and off-site manufacture
  • Excellent communication skills - written / spoken
