VolkerFitzpatrick is a leading civil engineering and construction company that delivers innovative solutions across various sectors. We are seeking a Senior Design Manager to join our team and work on multiple projects for our Build division.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and delivering design management in accordance with the agreed design programme and deliverable schedule. This will involve working on a wide range of Design & Build projects in the Industrial & Logistics, Commercial, and Life Sciences space.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and delivering design management in accordance with the agreed design programme and deliverable schedule
  • Working on a wide range of Design & Build projects in the Industrial & Logistics, Commercial, and Life Sciences space
  • Coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure effective design delivery
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders

Requirements include:

  • Solid design management experience from a Tier 1 Main Contractor
  • Construction experience from a Build background
  • Understanding of modern methods of construction and off-site manufacture
  • Excellent communication skills - written and spoken
