Position Overview

The Senior Vendor Relations Manager is responsible for orchestrating, guiding, and overseeing the operational elements of managed services agreements and other vendor contracts as designated. This role is pivotal in fostering a collaborative partnership between McDonald's and its key vendors. The incumbent will possess a comprehensive understanding of all facets of McDonald's Technology vendor agreements and will serve as the primary contact for any issues arising from various functional areas, such as Application Maintenance and Development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement effective communication strategies to inform McDonald's Technology and business stakeholders about the operational duties and services delivered through managed services contracts.
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with vendors to ensure seamless information exchange and effective identification, tracking, and resolution of strategies, priorities, requirements, issues, and action items.
  • Oversee the governance framework between McDonald's and its vendors to ensure ongoing alignment and collaboration.
  • Manage joint action items resulting from governance discussions, ensuring thorough tracking and reporting until resolution.
  • Continuously monitor the effectiveness of the vendor governance process and propose enhancements for ongoing improvement.
  • Collaborate with McDonald's management on contract-related challenges, from identification through to resolution.
  • Engage with key partner groups to enhance the overall effectiveness of vendor contracts and relationships.
  • Identify additional sourcing opportunities within existing vendor partnerships.
  • Conduct periodic customer satisfaction surveys and implement follow-up action plans as necessary.
  • Facilitate formal vendor evaluations through the governance structure, focusing on contract performance and market assessments.
  • Monitor service level agreement (SLA) performance and assist in resolving issues as they arise.
  • Work with Technology leaders and vendors to establish and assess key performance indicators (KPIs) that drive value and support continuous improvement.
  • Direct the performance management strategy, including SLA management and reporting processes for all relevant services.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews of managed services programs and vendor services to identify risks and compliance issues regularly.
  • Analyze and maintain performance dashboards and service performance metrics.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in IT contract management and vendor relationship administration.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Proven expertise in outsourcing, contract administration, project management, and financial oversight.
  • Experience managing strategic vendor relationships and large-scale contracts.
  • In-depth knowledge of IT outsourcing and performance management methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete tasks effectively under pressure.
