Job Title: AWS Cloud Reliability Engineer

Job Summary:

Anson McCade seeks a skilled AWS Cloud Reliability Engineer to join our team and take ownership of our OpenStack environment. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, performance, and scalability of our cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain highly available and scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS services.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using bash and Python to streamline cloud operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve infrastructure-related issues.
  • Implement monitoring and logging tools to ensure service continuity and security best practices.
  • Provide expert-level support for cloud infrastructure and related technologies.

Requirements:

  • Advanced expertise with Linux OS, particularly RHEL, with strong command line and scripting skills.
  • Skilled in provisioning, configuring, and managing virtual machines and containers within OpenStack.
  • Solid understanding of monitoring and logging tools to ensure service continuity and expertise in security best practices for maintaining OpenStack platforms.
